
Ah.. sleep.. Isn’t it one of the most relaxing things to do on earth? We could take it just as a pleasing thing to do but problems arise when we start being careless about it and sleep inadequately. I’m sure most of us have faced this problem one day or the other, maybe because of a late night study or in order to have a work done. The effect mostly appears to be mild but actually it isn’t. Especially when we don’t get to complete our sleep continuously for a few days, the problem worsens.
The initial changes seen in our body are light. It could be a slight headache, dizziness, lethargy, heavy eyes, lack of concentration. Slowly, if we don’t improve your sleeping habits, our problems will be aggravated and we will have to face other consequences of insomnia, stress, depression, change in metabolic rates and similar neuronal and hormonal changes. In the chronic cases, almost all the body organs are affected because of the change in the sleeping pattern. We don’t rest well means, definitely, we’re stressing our body more and thus our lifestyle will be affected. Well, our immunity will be weakened and we will be prone to suffer further from diseases.
In this competitive world, we may have to toil day and night, but that doesn’t mean that we’ve to give all the unnecessary burden to our body. We must always remember that our body works the way a machine does, only it is too complicated to know all the mechanisms, the way its parts work and too advanced for a human to create a replica of it. So, the conditions must be made favorable for the body and it should be given the rest it deserves. Life comes only once, so, the best idea would be to utilize and preserve what we have then to regret about it later on because the latter will be of no help.
This is only a simple note to remind you, friends, that a being careless on even such a simple thing creates a great deal of problems. So friends, let’s sleep well so that we could work well to fulfill our dreams in the future. Each night, even if no one is there to wish you, wish yourself ‘Good night, head light, sleep tight’ and let it happen and see the magic next morning, the beautiful feeling you’ll wake up is going to be outstanding. ^^
